Hi all
After a bit of a break from audio stuff, I’ve been back on the case the last few days. The next show is about 75% done and should be uploading before the end of the week - that will be a restored audience recording of Scottish band Runrig playing a lively set to what sounds like a very lively crowd at Alloa Town Hall in 1988. Polishing up nicely! As a band Runrig were together 45 years; I have seen it written a few times they were at their best live (which may be why they released 7 official live albums!). This gig is certainly a great performance; it was certainly a great night in Alloa that night.
In Other News
I had someone donate to the upkeep of the site recently, and among the gigs they asked for, were separated files of a couple of the older shows I did some years ago, by The Ramones and The Smiths. I’ve had a listen to those and when I re-listen to old shows and think I can improve on both, then I will do (there are several gigs on the site that have already been revisited and done again). So I intend to work on those 2 next alongside another new restoration which I can’t reveal yet. More on those over the next week or 2.
That’s it for now - more news when the Runrig show gets uploaded. Until then, enjoy the rest of your weekends.
Cheers!
Phil
